Chose this cruise as it was a beautiful suite, great itineraries and the service by the crew was very good. The food was awful. Specialty restaurants served cold entrees, the steak restaurant (polo grill) was out of their featured prime rib, and things like the lumped crab meat was actually minced out of a can! In speaking to other guests heard numerous stories about sending back food as it was improperly cooked. The hours things are open are very strange like not being able to get a smoothie by the pool at 5pm. At the Italian restaurant Toscana 2 of the 4 of us dining had to send our veal chop back it was so cold. I even ordered a pot of coffee in my room with breakfast and it was ice cold. Many of the restaurant food items seem prepared in advance and just reheated so it lacks a freshness. The talent in the shows needs improvement. They promoted an Italian night at the buffet for two nights and you couldn’t even get a Caesar salad! The seafood pasta tasted like it had been cooked so long all of the shrimp and other stuff in it was just like mush.
