My wife and I have done numerous ocean cruises, including two with Viking, but this was our first river cruise. Viking did not disappoint.

We chose Viking, because of its ability to provide an encompassing service with airfare, transfers, extensions and tours in a casino and kid free environment.

Airfare and transfers were seamlessly handled. We used Viking’s Air Plus service to make early reservations and assist with airline schedule changes. The 24 hour emergency line was promptly answered when I called to confirm some seating details prior to boarding on the trip home. Greeters at the airport in their red jackets are a welcome sight in a foreign country.

Cabin Review

Small, but efficiently laid out and functional. Due to the weather, we did not use the veranda much. She shower was a challenge, but workable. French Veranda is the value choice for cabins.

Port Reviews

Vienna

Amazing architecture, culture and horses.

Regensburg

Medieval charm and great food.
