I was going to sail on Cunard on a similar itinerary but wanted something less formal. Boarding was not great. I arrived early and despite there being no queues to board at that time, they made me wait for 2 hours, so not a good start. My cabin was great and huge but there was mildew on the tiles in the bathroom, something that can be easily cleaned, right P&O?? I chose the relaxed dining but was still required to join a queue on the app etc, it felt they were pushing me to spend money in the other restaurants etc. Other than that, nice ship, nice spaces, probably too many kids for my liking but this wasn't advertised as an adults only sailing so you can't win em all. It would be nice to be able to have a hot breakfast in my room, they now only do continental.
My cabin was great and huge but there was mildew on the tiles in the bathroom, something that can be easily cleaned, right P&O?? The bed was lovely and comfy but could benefit from a better mattress topper as I felt the gap between the two single beds. The champagne and chocolates were a nice touch. Having a bath was great, first time I've experienced a bathtub on ship. Very relaxing to have a bubble bath with my champagne. The decor seems dated compared to newer ships but it wasn't tacky. There is wear and tear in places (I thought she was having a refit in April 2023)?
