We originally chose this trip due to pricing. The pricing itself was great, but the saying you get what you pay for is true. We dropped our luggage with a handler that I tipped. When the luggage arrived, at first only my girlfriend's luggage came. When my luggage arrived it was cracked and broken with a piece sticking out. We went to resolve the issue and was told it would need to be investigated. While I was curious how that would be done. Their solution was to give a $75 room credit and they took the tip off of our account. We did the Bella experience and the room was very small. The towels were changed twice a day and bed made, but they never changed our sheets. We had to pay for laundry service to get our clothes ironed. When boarding and leaving the ship I had a special head piece on that my official picture was taken with. On 3rd time leaving the ship I was stopped by a security person who seemed a bit hostile and was told I would need to take a new picture because of what I was wearing on my head in the picture which did not obscure any part of my face. When I next saw this individual twice more he always have me mean looking stares. When exiting and boarding the ship after, no one mentioned anything about needing a new picture. Now as per the food it was ok, but one night we went to dinner at our assigned table and they had what they were calling " Maryland Crab Cakes", that was an insult to Maryland. It had no really crab meat and was filled with imitation crab meat and potatoe. When asking for things at the table the staff didn't seem to understand what was asked of them. The activities offered were fine, but could have been better timed. Some of the shows were really good. The staff overall were very polite, some more helpful than others especially when dealing with the reception desk. We we unaware of a shuttle bus outside of the cruise that only charged $10 per person as opposed to the shuttle you had to book in advance that is $22 per person. When we missed the time to book, the person at reception never mentioned this option. The excursions saved this trip especially the one in Cozumel that consisted of the ruins and chocolate and tequila tasting. Our guide Luis was excellent, very informative, approachable and helpful.
