The Regent Seven Seas Splendor is splendid! The ship is an absolute beauty. The decor is fantastic and whoever chose the combination of styles and fabrics should be commended. Everything about the Splendor is first-rate and I believe that is the goal, which is why I'm going to be somewhat nit-picky. My only area of complaint is in food service, which is a bit uneven. The food itself was always very good, but the timeliness of the service was lacking on occasion. For example, we had lunch at Prime 7, and two couples came in five minutes after we did and received their meals of ribs and burgers and we had yet to get our soup. I realize in the post-Covid cruising world much of the staff is new and have yet to find their footing and at times they seemed to be understaffed at bartender. This is why I would give it 4.7 instead of 5.

CABIN: We were in #8** Concierge level and we loved it. The decor was outstanding, the bathroom marble with a bathtub and separate shower: Complete with rain shower! There was a walk-in closet with plenty of space, free laundry service, and a guest laundry just down the hall. They knew it was my wife's birthday and decorated our cabin with a banner and balloons. The cabin staff was great and were never too far away when you needed them.

SPA: Excellent. We had a two-thousand dollar shipboard credit and we used it all at the Spa.
