My wife and I sailed on Royal Princess Cruise 15 Nights to Hawaii from San Francisco (27 Mar – 11 Apr) I am Elite Captain’s Circle Member.

Our Cabin Steward was excellent Elizalde. Also special praise for Mr Xavier (Guest Service Director) who was extremely helpful with a major issue I had with the Coffee Card/Elite Benefits.

Let me start by saying that Royal Princess Cruise Ship is beautiful, and the cruise director and staff were excellent, no problems there. The major issue I have is the alarming decline in Food & Beverage standards. The F&B Director should be ashamed of the food quality and service experienced. Based on the observations made, sadly, it looks as though Princess as a company is now becoming nothing more than a Mid-range All Inclusive resort at sea. Nothing wrong with that however as an Elite Member and cruising numerous times with Princess Pre and Post Covid the changes are very apparent not good.

Cabin Review

Interior

Roomy and Well Kept by our Cabin Steward (Elizalde).

Port Reviews

Ensenada

A bit of a Dump area and not very clean.

Honolulu

We enjoyed it, in particular visit to The Polynesian Cultural Centre.

Kona (Kailua Bay)

We DIY our day so we enjoyed it. Smaller port easy to get around.

Maui

Beautiful island, we enjoyed it. Whalers Village worth a visit.
