We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and hadn’t cruised since 2011. We did our research and something just kept telling us that Celebrity was the way to go, and boy were we right!

Because it was our anniversary we splurged and booked a Sky Suite in The Retreat, which is so unlike us but we figured what the hey, ya only live once. From the embarkation process to the day we got off the ship, we felt a level of customer service that we’ve never seen before. And not just from the Retreat staff, everywhere we went on the ship the crew and staff were very friendly, helpful and always pleasant. One of our favorite places to hang out was Cafe Al Bacio, what a great place to enjoy a drink and just people watch. And the other was Eden, very hard to adequately describe unless you’ve been there, but let’s just say a wonderful place on the aft of the ship to chill, dine and enjoy great shows.

The Rooftop Garden is also a great place to relax, the martini bar was fabulous and very entertaining, the shows were very good and the food, everywhere we ate, never disappointed. Read more
