My husband and I chose this cruise as our 25th wedding anniversary gift to each other. I have always wanted to go to Germany and see the homeland of my parents. Viking Cruises made this a memorable trip in many ways. The entire crew of the Gersemi was very professional and welcoming. I was especially impressed with the Hotel Manager knowing our names on the second day and with the captain of the boat being at the gangway as we left and came back to the boat after each excursion. Our program director, Nancy, was amazing and made us feel like we were old friends. She was very friendly and easy to approach. The food was top notch and the waitstaff truly appeared to enjoy their jobs and our company. All of the tour guides we had on our shore excursions were very knowledgeable and didn't rush us along.

I would highly recommend the Rhine Getaway aboard the Viking Gersemi. It was truly a trip I will not soon forget!
