My wife and I booked the cruise to celebrate our anniversary, partially based on recommendations from friends. While we expected good service, Viking far exceeded our already high expectations. They took care of all the details for us, including plane tickets, transfers between airports, hotels, and the ship, tours of every city, and more.
Everyone on the ship was very professional and friendly, and they went out of their way to meet every need or request. The housekeeping was wonderful, with our stateroom and the entire ship kept neat and clean. The galley and serving teams were very impressive. Not only was the food fantastic, with a large selection of choices, they were ready to bring additional servings or different items anytime someone wanted anything.
The captain was professional, but also very friendly and circulated among the guests frequently, checking on them.
Cabin Review
Deluxe Stateroom
While the cabin was a little tight, it was big enough for us. We didn't spend an enormous amount of time in the cabin other than sleeping anyway. The bed was comfortable and there were enough electrical and USB connections for our needs. The bathroom was fine, even if the shower was smaller than we are used to. The twice a day room service was great.
