I kept a journal during the cruise and highlighted all of the details of each day. Easiest way to share my experience! We chose Prima because it departed from New York City, which is close to our home. I traveled with my husband, John, and my daughters, Bev (15 years old) and Kyra (13 years old).

Monday

Woke up to a very rocky boat! Had room service, which arrived at 7 am (time zone change of 1 hour). I finished my book, Infinity People as Kyra and I sat in comfy chairs watching the crazy waves hit the side of the boat. We watched Mamma Mia. Had dinner at Hudson’s, which was great until Kyra didn’t feel well. One of the wait staff, Made, was so attentive to us and brought Kyra ginger ale. She also offered to refill my wine glass because we were planning to leave dinner early (I saw Made again on Saturday and again, was so impressed with her kindness towards an elderly woman - seems like they spoke the same language. Made held her hand, and the family took a photo of her with the elderly woman. She impressed me again!). Bev went to Entourage, the teen club.
