We had a great time. On board staff was excellent. Social Director did an outstanding job; full of energy. They did everything thing they could to make our trip excellent. It was the 1st cruise of the season for this crew and boat. Had a problem with one of the engines. Had to leave Budapest early and got to Vienna almost a day late. Viking let us re-arrange or cancel excursions with full refund. Sent us $250 voucher each as compensation. A cold front came through and it was colder than we expected. If I was doing this cruise again, I would go from Regensburg to Budapest which is downriver with the current. We went the other way. We had an extension in Prague. Had a 6:30 am flight out. Viking had a rep that met us at the airport. She walked us through check-in and then to security. Very impressive. We also had an pre-cruise extension in Budapest. Viking reps at Budapest hotel and Prague hotel were exceptional. They were very helpful and responsive. I can see why Viking is number 1.
