The cruise included places we never visited before making it sound very interesting. I felt although it was interesting, many of the villages did not have enough to see or do. Another issue we ran into is that we traveled on Easter and Orthodox Easter and many places of interest were closed on both Sundays and Mondays. We were also disappointed that we were basically left on our on the second day in Bucharest. Viking provided shuttle buses to old town and the mall but the optional tours were canceled. Also we did not realize that dinners would not be covered by Viking as they would be if we were on the boat. Budapest had 6 Viking ships in dock at one time, making the French Balcony worthless since our view was into someone else’s cabin. The staff was great and our cruise director, Michal, was wonderful The Marriott Hotel was gorgeous.
