The short story is we had a great cruise. We've sailed with Azamara one other time and this is about our 35th cruise overall. We've done small all the way up to mega-sized ships. There's pros/cons to them all and we enjoy all the experiences with some big differences between them. Azamara's advantages are known. The overnights. The Azamazing Evenings. Their ability to get close in on many port stops (not all but on our sailing it was amazing to park right in Seville for example).
Onboard the experience is relaxed and we find people who sail on this line to be amongst the nicest we've experienced.
I can't explain it, but by and large it's just a friendly, polite and relaxed group of people. The crew were amazing.
Fantastic visit here - we had an overnight and pulled right up into the city and walked off and were there.
Love Portugal and you had some great walks or the ship arranged some transportation to the beach and city center.
Need to get back here, the city offers a lot. We did an independent food tour that we loved.
