Thigs went wrong right from the beginning when we arrived after flying overnight and our transferred, which was included in the cost of the cruise, failed to turn up and we had to make our own way to the ship. We then spent three hours waiting to check-in, which was unacceptable. Once on board we found lifts out of order and several toilets and sinks in the public areas also out of order, and they stayed this way throughout the whole cruise. One day we smelt gas in the cabin coming through the air-conditioning . Another night corridors filled with smoke due to a broken bearing in the air conditioning system. The dining room ceiling collapsed one day and took two days to fix. Various machines in the restaurant and the café vivo were broken and again were not repaired during the cruise. The food was only average and lacked variety. Finally the disembarkation process was a complete shambles as were nearly two hours late leaving the ship.
