We are avid cruisers and have been on just about every other line. We enjoy many aspects of cruising but we found Virgin Voyages to be refreshingly different and a surprise. Valiant Lady represented our 110th cruise in 35 years and it was one of a kind for us. We LOVED that there were no kids, don't dislike kids and have cruised with our nieces/nephew's on occasion but on Valiant Lady (VL) we were free to be adults without self censoring due to children being around. We were initially worried that we would be too old for the VL and her cruise ethos - we were not! We have seldom encountered such a happy shipload of passengers and crew. Very inclusive and friendly. We did not witness in 8 days any "ugliness" people were well behaved and respectful but were having a good time. There is a "sexiness" (not profane/dirty) to the whole vibe that we enjoyed. We love that the crew are allowed to be themselves and to a crew member we were impressed with the friendliness and willingness to help - further they recommended and suggested to make the experience more wonderful and exceptional. We loved, loved, loved the hammock - used it more than we thought we would. We were not nickel and dimed , prices were low to fair (cocktail prices were very reasonable). Food was good to very good with a few misses - however, I do miss a main dining room - we loved Razzle Dazzle and the Wake along with the food hall - great options and good to very good food. Pink Agave - Meh, Italian - ok. Drinks were cheap and coffee was great. Entertainment was different and unique - loved the Drag Queen Shows and the Ship Show supper club. The crowd and Crew were inclusive - all shapes all sizes, no judgement, no ugliness - really special - not sure if just our cruise but it was amazing! Crew was, to a person, cheerful, helpful, solicitous, and friendly - WOULD NOT ACCEPT TIPs, genuinely wanted passengers to have a great time . Standard balcony and room were wonderful - plenty of storage. Booked two excursions. great value - excellent quality

The only negative was the App, it sucked most of the time - the tech is crucial to the experience and it was glitchy and unreliable.

We will be back, perfect Caribbean ship!!!
