We are avid cruisers having cruised many times. This was our first P&O Australia cruise AC (after Covid). BC we have done over 15 voyages. This time we only traveled with our youngest son 12 years old. We had an inside cabin. It was spacious and ample room to fit everything. The steward came in twice daily as per our request and kept our cabin clean and tidy. No complaints.

Embarkation was slightly delayed due to late arrival (weather) but we still go on fairly fast. We went to the Waterfront MDR for lunch instead of the pantry. No wait time and food and service was good. For the entire cruise we had selected set dining time (2nd sitting). We did not have to book the various free Restaurants as we had a letter in the cabin with our set dining time in the various Restaurants on a rotational basis. Thereby able to experience the different menus. Food overall was of a high standard and so was the service. The only thing to disappoint were fellow passengers. Honestly I know we can be more casual but men, please put on a shirt and after 5pm please put on at least a collared shirt and some long trousers when dining in one of the main Restaurant. I even heard of a passenger wanting to dine in one of the specialty Restaurants in his shorts only (no shoes or shirt).

Passengers sometimes complain about the food, service, settings etc - maybe if we show some respect to the crew who are always immaculately dressed those areas will improve. (not that they were bad).
