Good flight from Cardiff to Palma, but we had to handle our luggage at the airport , to the bus, off the bus, not like the other cruise we had been on. Checking onto the ship was efficient, but not too friendly. We found our cabin, as the crew guide we were given did not know where it was. We had a good look around the ship before it was too crowded and even though it was extremely clean, it was tired and worn. we were disappointed as we were sold the cruise on the "fully refitted newest addition to the fleet" and felt let down.

The buffet restaurant on deck 9 was poorly designed, all the food in a long line, had to join the end of queue for just hot food at the end, food was average, nothing special at all, in fact the best meal we had all week was from the burger bar on the rear deck.

There was a musty smell on some decks which at times was a sewage smell, our bathroom smelled musty most of the time.

Cabin Review

Our outside cabin on deck 7 was reasonably sized, but thre were no drawers, the window frame was badly corroded, the bathroom in need of a refit.

The cabin steward was excellent.
