Chose this cruise for the itinerary of Argentina, Antartica and Chile, but the pretour to iguazzu falls (amazing!!! this is a fantastic pretour. Belmont hotel and our Argentinean guide Sol were a huge surprise - fabulous!) turned out to be a highlight; so consider it!
The ship is due for a retrofit and needs it. Our owners suite was huge and lovely; so no complaints there, but our friends’ penthouse 1 cabins reminded us of ikea awhile back and are smaller than regents similar class rooms. They aren’t terrible, just FYI if youve been on Regent, they are not the same.
If you can swing the owners suite, for this long of a cruise it was definitely worth it.
The owners suites on the Marina are well appointed and huge - 4 rooms - and what we like about the suite is being on the back of the ship, which we enjoy. We didnt think we would use all the sitting areas, but we did on such a long cruise.
Rooms are Ralph Lauren decor and very comfortable. Bed so comfortable we slept thru 8 hrs every night. The staff was fantastic. We had dinner in our suite for friends one night - which was a bunch of fun and one of our friends surprised us to say thank you by hiring the horizon lounge piano player to entertain us. Fun evening!!!!! John our butler was on top of everything, very responsive, made sure we had a great experience, took care of anything we needed and became a friend we enjoyed seeing every day.
