I won't reiterate what so many others here are saying, all the detailed step-by-step comments. I'll just fill in where I think I can add to what everyone else has already said:
The crew is very overworked. Surprisingly, almost all of them still seemed to want to be as helpful as possible. I wouldn't have had the grace. But still, their collective efforts can't fix everything. Bar staff often don't know what they have and have to run to grab drinks from other bars, for which I was appreciative. The line for the reception desk staff was overwhelming on the first day. The queue to get into the restaurant split, going down both staircases, and the staff didn't have any idea what to do.
The food at the free restaurants was terrible. I mean bad. Edible, but bad. I would've preferred a chain restaurant like Applebees or Chilis. The buffet was a saving grace, though, with a good variety of decent food, and actively GOOD Indian food if that's to your tastes.
