We were looking to experience Viking Ocean. I have friends and clients that I’ve booked with Viking but had not sailed on them myself. We love sea days and cruises that have enrichment. You can be as busy as you wish to be or just sit back and relax. There are no water slides no rock climbing walls or children under the age of 18. The food and service were excellent. I have many food allergies so I’m not able to eat many of the dishes on the menu. That was not a problem on the Viking Star the chef was very creative and made special dishes and desserts for me. Generally I tend to lose weight on a cruise, that was not the case this time.

The only complaint I had was the fact that dogs were allowed on this cruise. They were supposed to be service dogs but it was not evident that they were truly service dogs. I have asthma and allergies to dogs and had some issues whenever they came around where I happened to be.

Cabin Review

Very clean well serviced and a very friendly room steward.
