This is a fabulous cruise from Argentina through Chile, a part of the world most people have never encountered. The weather is not totally ideal and can be a bit limiting but Viking does everything in their power to make up for it and provide alternatives. The ship is beautiful and the size is perfect for making many new friends!

I loved the zodiacs, Special Operations boat, and of course the submarine! The on land hikes and adventures were very fun too especially the Penguin Reserve and the waterfall hike. I enjoyed all the on land places, Ushuaia , Puenta Arenas, Puerto Chacabuco, Castro and Valparaiso.

Viking went above and beyond when we disembarked in Valparaiso early in the morning and were transported to Santiago . We all basically had evening overnight flights so we had the comfort of a huge hospitality suite at a beautiful Marriott in Santiago before leaving for the airport many hours later. We were even given vouchers for lunch and bussed to a lovely restaurant galleria with many restaurant choices and they were upscale. We were also able to check our carryon luggage and jackets at the hospitality suite. Viking had our suitcases in safe keeping already. Great trip! Highly recommend if you’re up for an ADVENTURE!
