Extra time sailing plus Viking's great line-up of shore excursions was a perfect combination for us. Sailing days allowed us to fully explore the onboard amenities of Viking Jupiter, where staff, enrichment lectures, dining and entertainment were outstanding and varied. Port days included a wide range of excursions with knowledgeable guides who provided eye-opening insights into local communities and historic sites. Especially exciting were visits to the Alhambra in Granada, the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Sugarloaf Mountain in Rio, a family-owned ranch in Argentina, and talented dance performances in Montevideo and Barcelona, plus extension time in Buenos Aires and Barcelona to explore the cities on our own.

This was our first adventure in the Southern hemisphere and our first crossing of the Equator, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation.

Viking's meticulous organization, attention to detail, and commitment to staff excellence made this trip truly memorable. We would highly recommend this itinerary.

Cabin Review

Spacious, well designed cabin, with elegant appointments and styling. Staff were outstanding, friendly, and accommodating.
