Sail Date: Mar 2023
Cabin: Club Continent Suite

This is our feedback on the cruise we booked onboard following our 2022 France intensive cruise. This time it's Spain intensive (Lisbon to Barcelona). Since we only sail Azamara it's an Azamara 2022 V Azamara 2023 comparison.

Once again, we sailed on the Journey and, as previously, the ship sailed and arrived exactly as scheduled in each port and in every case appeared to have the best berth in port. It's rather satisfying to look across the harbour and see Viking ships moored far, far away. Despite it being the end of March, the ship bought some lovely weather up from Africa, it reached 33c in Seville on our second day there, a bit easier to manage than the 42c we experienced last time.

The captains broadcasts were kept to a minimum and were not broadcast into cabins unless there was a safety or health concern. A couple of warnings about roughish seas and for the muster drill made it to the cabins, nothing else did. There seemed a lot less hassling to vacate the ship at the end of the voyage.
