From the moment you talk to a representative for booking to the moment you arrive on board you are treated like royalty. With luggage tags provided, you are identified for assistance at the airport. From there they make sure you arrive on ship completely stress free. Our room was beautiful and bright. We found it to be cleaned twice a day, BTW, unless otherwise specified. We had fresh fruit and water with each clean. Every member of the crew is there to serve. The interaction between them and ourselves was always more then pleasant and sometimes amazing. The historical knowledge that was shared by our fabulous Cruise Director Elizabeth, and all our tour guides was phenomenal. Everyday was a joy with something new and wonderful to see. The Chef's meals were explained to us the evening before, giving us something more to look forward to. The choices made dining for a foodie or a non foodie satisfying. Every bite and every morsel so delicious and when regional even more incredible. Interesting and fun entertainment was brought on board in the evenings. We appreciate the smaller river boat size. We found everyone we met to be of similar age but with such diverse backgrounds. We enjoyed meeting and sitting with different folks each day to hear their stories. This is without a doubt the absolute best vacation we have ever treated ourselves too. We are so excited about Viking we have already scheduled our next Cruise for 2025 We will be heading up (or down) the Danube in April. Thank you Viking so much.
