We booked this vacation, because we were interested in seeing another part of France and learning more about wine. This cruise fulfilled that. I was pleased with tour guides. They were well informed, polite and happy to answer our questions. I enjoyed the little surprises, such as having the ship’s crew show up at the Chateau dinner, and oysters with wine at the Chef market outing. The evening with the musician trio was very enjoyable. The woman had a great voice and violinist was great! The bus drivers drove carefully and I felt safe riding with them. The after noon tour to the Blaye Citadel was very interesting and relaxing. It was nice to have free time to enjoy a coffee at a cafe there.

Our flight, from Madrid to Bordeaux, was cancelled and we arrived a day late, and without our luggage for 4 days. The receptionist did her best to make us comfortable , and offered laundry service, since we did not have a change of clothes. That was very thoughtful and was exceptional service.

Thank you for a wonderful vacation and wonderful memories.

Cabin Review

Cabin was clean, bed comfortable, TV worked well and enjoyed English speaking programs available. It was nice to have a refrigerator. Bathroom was adequate size. Water in shower was not as warm as I would like. Enjoyed having water available to drink.
