This was my very first cruise as well as my best friend who I was travelling with. To say we were disappointed was an understatement.
First when we were at the airport we had to wait in a line for over 30 minutes just to board a bus to the terminal. Once at the terminal we went through security and with no signage to instruct us otherwise, we walked out of the building and went to board the ship. Once at the door, the staff member rolled his eyes and asked where our room key was. Completely unaware of the other building we had to find, we had to walk back to the terminal building into another section and get our keys... again, no signs to direct us there so we had to inquire with different people along the way.
On the ship we got to our stateroom we saw that our pre-ordered water was there so we put it in our fridge. But the fridge was hot inside. So I called down to customer service to inform them our fridge wasn't working. The person who answered the phone told me that the refrigerator isn't supposed to be cold...... ummmm okay but it is hotter inside the fridge than the stateroom... she sighed and said she would send someone up. The fridge was never fixed during our stay.
Although we have nothing to compare it to, we were told it is VERY small compared to other cruises. The toilet and shower were on your right and left as you entered the room with a sliding door and curtain only to separate it from the room. The sink was in front of the bed. We had a balcony which was good. The fridge never worked and was warmer inside than the room itself and I was told by client services that this was normal and the fridge was not supposed to be cold.
Love Aruba! My favourite island. I would recommend HIGHLY using Foxy tours (Greg Brown) when booking a tour.
