From the moment we "walked up the gangway" to the moment we "walked down the gangway" we totally enjoyed our first Viking cruise. Our room steward, Nikko, was very attentive to our every need/wish. Every waiter/waitress could not have been more courteous and attentive. When we had questions of Guest Services they were most helpful.

We loved our junior suite, it was just the right size and the amenities were certainly worth the money.

We also loved the size of the ship, large enough to have many activities and venues to enjoy, but small enough to get around easily.

Cabin Review

Very comfortable suite. The bathroom was great and we loved the size of the shower and the double sinks.

Port Reviews

Colon (Cristobal)

We chose the Domed Railway Tour to Panama City. What a great tour. The air conditioned domed railway car was great. A boxed snack and drink was provided while we crossed the entire isthmus viewing not only the beautiful countryside but the Panama Canal. When we reached Panama City we boarded a bus for a tour of the city and had a lovely buffet lunch at Convivium, located on the Pacific Ocean with a great view of the City skyline. After lunch we started back across the countryside with a stop at the Mira Flores Locks for a tour and an I-Max 3-D viewing of a very informative movie showing the construction of the Canal. This tour in our opinion is a MUST!
