Choose this 3 day cruise from Melbourne to Sydney in order to use our cruise credit from a cancelled 2020 cruise. We were very happy that Princess had extended the period in which to use the credit. We chose a Club class Mini Suite with the Princess Plus package.

The Good

Embarkation was so quick & easy. We had already uploaded all required documents onto the Medallion App as requested. We did have to reshow proof of our RAT test before boarding, despite having uploaded a photo onto the App. (TIP - because my phone can't add date & time to photos, I took a photo of my RAT, with my driving license, and a copy of that day's newspaper showing the date of the RAT test. Was able to show it at the Quay). Some people apparently had difficulty/distrust with uploading personal documents which slowed down their embarkation. The Medallion App worked well on board - no difficulties whatsoever.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Club Class Mini Suite D3**. Practical layout. Good storage. Very comfortable bed. Upgraded towels due Club class.

Quiet cabin overall - no noise from neighbours or above, occasional creaking from ships movement.

Bathroom smelt musty, but didn't't impact the main cabin.

The shower is over the bathtub, which could be difficult for some to get in & out of. There are handrails.

Port Reviews

Eden (Australia)

Tiny New South Wales town in a picturesque setting . Docked close to town centre. Coaches supplied, but only an 8-10 minute walk from ship to the Whaling museum. It is a hilly town though. We walked through town and then went for a long walk along the beach coastal path. The local folk came out to greet us, with volunteers wearing red shirts. There was a festive, welcoming atmosphere. The local pub had some food vans, and people were out selling local arts & crafts.
