Sail Date: Mar 2023

We made our reservations in May, 2019 for our 40th anniversary the next year. COVID had other plans. Viking canceled our 2020 river cruise and again in 2021. We canceled in 2022 due to the unrest in Europe and the masking and COVID testing requirements. We rescheduled again with the change to an ocean cruise instead. We are certainly glad we did. The extended stay on the ship was marvelous. We enjoyed every minute. The food everyday, service by the staff, attention to detail in all things was beyond anything we could have imagined. The crew knew of our anniversary and made it an all day celebration, ending with the Viking Band and vocalists Zee and Jean learning and playing our wedding song in the Torshaven that night. These will be memories we will carry with us forever. Viking is rated #1 in the world for good reason. They earned it.

Cabin Review

Spacious, well appointed and everything we could possibly need.
