Ship was brand new and hugely less expensive than other lines. We were 3 families. Our only complaints were the bar service ( ridiculously slow), and the elevators ( be prepared to walk the stairs ) ..that system needs a major overhaul.

Unlike other reviewers we found the food Jack Astors in Canada or Cheesecake Factory in the US...nothing fancy , but quite edible. We had no complaints with the buffet need to learn how to navigate the buffet and be patient. Our room steward was terrific...our waiters in the dining room were among the best we have ever had. Bar staff is mostly miserable, but not all. They have one speed...slow.The comedian was funny....we saw only one other show and it was "okay:.Terrific jazz in The Loft, except for the length and number of breaks they take. Little things bothered me...Why do the Kareoke singers have their backs to the audience...c'mon guys, invest in a screen in the front. Why are bathrooms right outside the Sports Bar out of service? Really? The only bathrooms outside a bar. And most bathrooms are co-ed...very European, but for us guys, it takes away our advantage of a quick entry and exit.

We enjoyed this ship...3 pool areas....tons of outdoor seating and spaces to get away. Our teenage daughter had fun in the teens club.

Cabin Review

Cabin was typical...actually a bit larger than other ships. Everything you would expect from an inside room , except the shower . I'm slim ,but I can see people needing a shoehorn to squeeze in.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

If you just want to wander, don't bother when there are 4 ships in Port. The crowds are extreme.
