We wanted to see the Hawaiian islands and thought this would be a great way to do that.

The ship docks at mainly industrial ports, where there is not much around. If you haven’t signed up for one of Norwegian’s excursions or arranged some other forms of transportation you are in for a hike.

Norwegian’s excursions are quite expensive. We found excursions provided by others (if you can find them) to be much cheaper. This was especially so in Maui, however you need to get to the other side of the island to find them. There is nothing at the Maui port! Do plan before you go!
