We traveled on the Aqua Nera for three days in March, from Iquitos to Nauta. The boat was quite empty due to the recent protests, but we and several other groups were on board. The weather was wonderful, even in the wet season, with only one brief shower during the day. The layout of the boat allows for many spaces to have a private moment, but also spaces for conversations and groups playing games, etc. The dining room feels quite luxurious, and the waitstaff there was meticulous and lots of fun. The exercise room is small but has a treadmill, eliptical, bike and some weights - the basics. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful and knowledgable. Absolutely any request was honored, and our daily excursions were full of surprises, from wildlife to breakfast on the river in our skiffs. We took our two middle school-age daughters and they loved it as well. One of our most memorable adventures ever.
well appointed; excellent shower! full floor to ceiling window
