Sail Date: Mar 2023

After reading all the advertising from Viking Iwas getting, we decided to book that 14 day transatlantic cruise from San Jaun to Barcelona. Being aways for that long with 8 sea nights seemed wonderful. This was our 14th cruise, and first Viking. In the past we sailed on Azamara, Holland America, Celebrity and Royle Carribean. Here are my thoughts after being back a day...

Embarkation - was great, we had completed all our forms and took our pass picture at home, so there wasn't a line.

The ship was spotless, as well as spacious. No complaints there. Since we had the basic deluxe room, we are one the 3rd floor just above the Star theater. It was very noisy on days there was a show, usually until 10pm. Our room as well appointed and had the wonderful heating floor the bathroom that you read about in all the marketing material and reviews. Only issue we had was the bath soaps, shampoo and conditioners....Viking advertises high end ones, but we only received small .7 oz bottles of something make in China...disappointing.
