In the past, ( pre-COVID) my experience with carnival was great. Yes, the older ships are outdated but the customer care from staff was always excellent. Now, the staff in the lido deck are rude, it doesn’t look like they want to be there. I witness a staff member cutting in front of this older women with his sign that the line is closed. She went on the line the same time as me but he didn’t care, so my husband got off the line and gave her his spot. The staff member started talking crap to his buddy in their language. The staff in the reserved dining was also rude. The quality of food was horrible with the exception of my grilled shrimp and salmon. They kept running out of juice, hot chocolate and ice cream in the common areas . I seen the staff cleaning after hours but during the day, nobody was keeping up with the cleaning. Our cleaning guy to our room did his job. People were over drunk, walking into walls. Is carnival that desperate to make money that they don’t care about the well being of the guest. Definitely a staff of rejects. It felt like this boat was the last chance boat for staff. The worst rated staff. This trip has me considering other cruise lines
