I normally don’t leave reviews but after reading so many bad reviews of this ship I felt like I needed to add a good one. Overall, this was a great cruise. The ship is very nice, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I had a great week spending time with friends and relaxing. If you’re not a fussy traveler and you’re looking for a good value, this is the cruise for you. It is true that the food in the main dining room is just average at best and that crowd control (e.g., lines at bars and buffets, security checks returning to the ship, embarkation, etc.) could use a little help. But if you can get past those things, again, it’s a great cruise. I also spoke to lots of other passengers who felt the same way. The general consensus seemed to be that everyone enjoyed their vacation. As for my group, we would all sail with MSC again. Don’t be deterred by folks who leave bad reviews because their unrealistic expectations are never met!
