This is my 6th cruise with Celebrity, on several different classes of ships. The Apex is beautiful, no doubt. Beautiful touches such as coming back from the shore excursions to a much prettier entrance than others. What I didn't care for was the lack of a main dining room. There are several dining rooms, but they are not assigned, like Disney Cruise Lines does, so there are lines at some and not others. The reality is that you can order any meal from any of the "main" dining rooms, regardless of which one you're actually in. That will take some app bouncing so that you know what the other menus have on them that evening. There's no wait staff that follows you from restaurant to restaurant and no one table in a main dining room, so that the staff gets to know you and your favorite drinks or menu items, etc. I would imagine the staff on the newer ships get a little screwed since they no longer get the extra cash as the end for exceptional service.
Way too may sales "exhibits", it was like coming on to a sales conference. The shows were basic, just okay, the theatre is small. There's very little going on to choose from during each hour and with all of the "look thinner", "buy jewelry", "buy a mont blanc", it's just too much for me.
I'l go back to solstice class. I miss my actual balcony. The extra space is nice with the infinite veranda, but I lose touch with my friends that are hanging out outside and we get to talk to each other.
Very pretty, I like the larger washrooms. I with they were separated like on the Disney Wish.
