My Husband and I just returned from a 15-day cruise to Hawaii aboard the Princess Cruise Line.

Firstly, the food was HORRIBLE!! The food was bland & tasteless, meat was tough & hard to eat, breads, rolls were dry & hard. Oatmeal & grits had huge lumps (3 inches long by 1 inch wide to give you an idea) and were off-putting. Multiple times we were told “we ran out of that”. Basic things like milk or orange juice. We paid extra for specialty restaurants. The steak at Crown Grill was tough and chewy. The pasta trio at Sabbatini’s was literally 3 bites. The waiter even laughingly said it was a “3 bite entre”. We couldn't believe we paid extra for that!

When we ordered room service it turned out to be just as bad, or worse. Sometimes we ended up placing orders 2 or 3 times in one evening because the food brought previously was inedible. Examples: A chicken salad sandwich had a miniscule amount of salad on the sandwich (looked like just mayo) which made it a lettuce sandwich on stale bread. On a hamburger, the inside was completely raw and cold, as if it was put on a grill to brown the outside, then slapped on a stale bun. (you could knock on the table with it) Potato chips were damp and limp. Nachos were stale and inedible. Soft swirl ice cream had a lumpy, waxy taste. These were not one-time instances. Every time we ordered, same results. I have never gone on a cruise where I actually lost weight!

Cabin Review

We had a suite cabin with a balcony. It was very cramped.
