NZ & Australia have been on our list for many years. We are frequent Viking travelers. This was our 6th Viking cruise, and we already have another scheduled and planning several more. This trip was scheduled after a Canadian/New England trip was canceled because of Covid issues a few years ago. Then this trip was delayed in NA/Australia because of Covid. We were excited that the trip finally took occurred. We were very pleased with the outcome.

We loved everything about the cruise, except the logistics for the excursions were way below Viking standards. The excursions themselves were excellent. The staff was just outstanding! They were the best we have encountered yet. Customer service was top notch.

The weather was problematic, but Viking staff did everything possible to make our trip successful. The captain seemed to have slowed down before entering and during our trip through the Tasman Sea to avoid inclement sea conditions due to a cyclone across the northern part of NZ.

Cabin Review
