Norwegian Epic Review 7 Day Southern Caribbean Week of 3/12/23-3/19/23

I just returned from a 7 day Spring Break cruise on Norwegian Epic, Here are my thoughts on the trip. I will break it down into a few different categories. I am sorry, but this is a long review.

Norwegian Sea-Air Program.

Balcony

We were in a standard balcony room. While the room was functional, I have never had a smaller room on a ship. The balcony has a bulkhead as it is in the very front and under the bridge. It was quiet but so far to walk to. The space between the bed and the counter under the tv was so tight maybe 12” it was difficult to get through at times. I know many have complained about the bathroom lay out and it is true that you need to be very comfortable with your travel partner as there is no semblance of privacy in the room. The shower isn’t that big of a deal however the toilet is another thing. There were times at night where you are doing your business and you are mere inches from your sleeping partner. This is something that can never be fixed unless Norwegian again does a complete gut job.

Overall the room was kept clean, the steward did a good job but here is another place where Norwegian is cost saving. Gone are the days of the daily turn down with towel animals, you get your room made up some time during the day and that is it. It isn’t that big of a deal but something that I did miss.
