We booked this cruise so we could revisit some of our favorite locations - New Zealand and Australia! And the beautiful Viking Mars was our choice for this trip. It was our first voyage with Viking. Viking promises excellent service and amenities which surpassed those of other cruise lines we traveled with in the past. Everything about the ship was high quality- cabin services, food and restaurants, entertainment. WiFi and self laundry services were a very appreciated addition.The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome; they were very approachable with the guests. Entertainment was way above our expectations. The musicians and vocalists were professional and outstanding. The ports were interesting with a variety of tour options. We missed a couple ports due to unforeseen circumstances. Viking was very generous in handling these situations.

We booked another Viking trip in 2024. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We are looking forward to our next Viking trip which will be a river cruise.
