Cabin: Balcony, sheltered
We have done many cruises with mainly Princess (but also NCL, MSC, Costa, HAL) and thought we would try some other cruise lines. This cruise fitted a way of going to the far east without the long flight to begin with, as we set off from Dubai.
We chose a sheltered cabin and were quite happy with that (although the sheltered cabins on HAL Westerdam (our follow on cruise from Singapore) were much lighter and better than these on QM2) Embarkation was fine.
We had anytime dining, this is fine for us, but some observations...

Our cabin was fine. Very similar to other cruises. It had a sheltered balcony.
