I decided to write a complete review this time on an MSC cruise.

We cruised on MSC Seascape, 03/12-19/2023 in three cabins, eight people in total. My wife and I in (Balcony), my daughter, son-in-law, and 2 children (11 & 5), in (balcony) and a friend and 12yo son in an inside cabin also on 11.

I saw the reviews before we embarked, and although the average was 2.5 of 5 stars, I usually will make my own determination. I can understand the reason for the lower ratings…

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

Our Cabin: My rating 4.5 out of 5

Our cabin was beautiful! The bed was new and very comfortable. Balcony was nice, everything worked well, and the couch that opens up to a bunk bed was awesome. So much so that I will plan on buying one for my house! The bathroom and shower was well-appointed and roomier than most. I also was very happy with the DND and MAKE UP ROOM switches by the door!

Reason for no 5 star:

1. You MUST have an outlet near the bed. Many people use equipment when they sleep and this is a very poor plan!!

2. The phone should be nearer the bed. Both for wake-up alarms and for room service warnings (which, sad to say, was not given on MSC)!!!
