Everything about traveling on Viking makes me feel like a queen. The accommodations are thoughtful with everything we might need already in the room like a luxurious robe and an umbrella and I really liked the extra blanket for using when sitting on the couch. The food of course is abundant and delicious. We ate in every restaurant and bar are. When we went for the tea we were amazed at the beautiful sandwiches and wished we were hungrier to enjoy more of them but we had to save room to get to dinner. Fortunately we went for a good walk at every port so we could eat more when we got back to the ship. The entertainment was fun and I loved the dancing every evening in the bar area. My only criticism is that we were slow to sign up for extra activities and most of the ones we wanted to do were already full. Next time we travel a Viking cruise we will sign up for activities as soon as our time slot is open. Someone also said to go to the concierge as soon as we get on the ship and get on a waiting list. Maybe if we had done that we would have been able to do some of the extra activities we wanted. But we had plenty to do and really enjoyed our experience. This is my second Viking cruise and I am a fan of the company and recommend them regularly.
