Though I booked this cruise for the ports and sights, and they were wonderful, the highlight of this trip was the crew. They were professional and friendly, quickly knew everyone's names and preferences, were most helpful whenever asked about anything. They clearly enjoyed their jobs and each other. It was evident that Viking clearly values their staff and treats them well.

The port talks were very good. I would have appreciated a few more lectures on various aspects of history or life today in this region. Cooking demonstration was fun, as were other entertainment activities.

It would also be helpful if there were options for those a little less physically capable of long walks and stairs. Smaller tour groups would have also been appreciated, 30 people is too many for a walking tour, even with the QuietVox system. Designating one small group as the leisurely group could have satisfied this need.

French Balcony Stateroom

Perfect for one person, very tight for two people.
