Seemed to offer the most complete package to visit Antartica. Expedition type cruise seem to promise more insights into life in Antartica and all that it means. Viking went above and beyond from initial planning, use of My Journey website for planning and purchases. Viking took over on site once landing in Buenos Aires. More than sufficient people to help along the entire way. Extremely well organized. No need to handle luggage or worry about any transports or such.

Octantis was beautiful ship. Small, intimate. Only 368 guests with 264 crew. Did not want for anything. Every crew member that I came in contact with were extremely friendly, did all they could to enhance the overall experience. Food, Drink, atmosphere all far exceeded expectations.

Crew standouts - Nelson, Gede,

Cabin Review

Deluxe Nordic Balcony

Cabin was extremely comfortable, larger than expected, amazing full window that opened down, king bed set up, room for suitcases under the bed. Large bathroom with shower. Cabin Steward Gede over the top helpful and friendly.

Make up desk compartment an extra plus. More than enough closet and draw space. Able unpack suitcase completely.
