We love the experts on Linblad/Nat Geo. This cruise had experts with long experience in Antarctica, the South Pole, with whales and penguins, history, birds—you name it. It was like a very fun immersion course.

The food was delicious, if a tad bland at times. The cabins and common areas were superb. The orchestration of zodiac rides and landings was perfectly organized, with a spacious locker room for boots etc.

Antarctica limits the number of passengers allowed on land at one time. It is important to be on a boat with a smaller passenger load, so as to be able to go on land at every opportunity. The Resolution was small enough to allow for this but large and new enough (and with good stabilization) to make a swifter passage through the Drake Channel.

Cabin Review

Perfect, spacious. The lighting was too complicated and we needed help with it! Thermostat was excellent , spotlessly clean, big shower.
