My husband and I chose this cruise because we wanted to see Antarctica and had never been to South America. We were excited to experience a new continent in the comfort of a cruise line that we had sailed on pre-Covid. We were very disappointed. The cruise line has really gone down hill in many ways. The ship seemed old and rust spots were visible. The food at the buffet was limited and because there was an outbreak of Noreau virus, the lines were long and often there was inadequate seating. The dining room food was often delivered cold and again the choices were repetitive and limited. It also took days to get a set seat and time which we requested on day one. It took guest services to intervene to finally get a regular time and table. The stateroom we booked had an obstructed view. We booked a room through our travel agency who didn't know the view was obstructed. It was on the concierge level on the 10th floor. You can only imagine our disappointment when we were told no other room was available and we could only see the beautiful sights of Antarctica from half of our balcony. When the travel agent tried to get some type of reimbursement for us from Celebrity because an obstructed view room costs less, Celebrity refused claiming that the travel agency should have known and informed us. I believe the travel agency when they said they had no information about this obstruction. The entertainment onboard was amateur and I felt my children's high school musical theater group was equal in talent. The cruise director and naturalist were very good. The staff on the ship were friendly and attentive. The ports were interesting and the excursions with the exception of one were very good. I would not recommend traveling on this ship, or with Celebrity for that matter in the future.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 2

I was in a concierge room with an obstructed view. Half of the balcony had a towering window washing structure on the side of it. The room was dated and didn't have adequate outlets for modern electronics. There was plenty of closet space and adequate room to store our clothing. The room steward was very hard working and always available.
