Generally good itinerary, with particular highlights being Madeira, Lanzarote, Malaga and Cadiz. Could do with longer at Cadiz, and prepare yourself for choppy weather on the 1st sea day. However, what brings the score down is the ship itself. The Sun is one of the smaller vessels, and often you have to navigate through other public area to get to your destination, the spa is particularly poorly laid out. In addition poor food offerings in the Mexican and Italian speciality restaurants, a ridiculously small and under equipped spa for the price, tiny stateroom bathrooms and a change to ncls pricing policy regarding the drinks package meaning a smaller and smaller drinks list falling into eligibility left a sour taste. Offline equpment in the pulse gym for the entire cruise didnt help my impression of a ship that whilst painted, doesn't feel well maintained with costs being minimised at every opportunity. Generally feels like ncl are trying ro squeeze max income from min cost these days, and it really shows on the smaller older vessels, wouldn't go on the Sun again.
