Very disappointed in the overall NCL experience. Our ship was older and small, but that was the least of its problems. Food was awful and service was sparse. Long lines for drinks and food at the specialty restaurants was substandard with the exception of Cagney’s steakhouse. I was disappointed in all of the extra hidden fees on the ship and the Wi-Fi service that we paid hundreds of dollars for—it was awful. Embarking and disembarking from the ship was a long, unorganized nightmare. Our room was average, and the housekeeping service in our room was good. This was our first cruise out of port to Tampa, and it will also be our last. The port was understaffed, and the process to get on the ship was long and slow. The only reason I gave this cruise 2 stars was the ports and itinerary were fun. Our next cruise will be Royal Caribbean.
