We were booked on this cruise as we had to cancel our cruise a year ago because we had covid a week before our departure. We contacted our TA and were rebooked on the Beyond. The bonus is that we got the last Sunset veranda cabin as we always wanted to try one out. It was really nice as the balcony was a walk out with two lounge chairs, two chairs and a table, it was nice. We had rented a scooter for my wife, and it fit in the room. She gets out of breath so used it at night when we went to dinner then making the trip to the theatre. She also used it in St. Maarten. The cabin is longer in length on this ship so had room for scooter. I do not know about the Solstice class.
We usually have been on the Solstice class ships so this was a change for us. We prefer the traditional dining over what was on the Beyond. It did seem there was a lack of communication on how to do the dining as you had to make reservations ahead of time or you can take your chances and see if you can get in. Try to go early if possible. Also, not as much info about transfers to airport as in the past on the Equinox, Reflection and the Millennium. We ate at the Eden and at the Raw on 5. Both were good. Eden is also a great place for lunch.
The production shows were the best we ever had seen on Celebrity. Theatre was spectacular. Get there early as it fills up fast! Be sure to go to the shows at Eden. They are usually having 3 shows during the cruise, with the one show being done twice if you miss the first one. They are at 11:00 p.m. We got there at least an hour early and sat upstairs. It fills up fast.
Very spacious as said in the above comments. Seems like the closet was a little tight to get in, but there was a lot of storage space.
Just came in a day early. Stayed at the Hyatt Place Airport Cuise in Dania Beach. Shuttle service from airport and to cruise port.
This was an excellent excursion. This was very informative. The excursion was called, Destination highlites: Fortaleza San Felipe and Historic district. Very nice
We went around the port on our own. We then went on the water taxi to the boardwalk. Water taxi was $7.00 all day. Water taxi is wheelchair accessible. Lots of restaurants and bars on the strip and a nice beach. If you wanted to go over two more streets lots of shopping and the last street, I guess had more local shops.
Rating is only for the excursion. otherwise, the port is really nice. We have been here before and went to St. Johns the last time and had a better excursion. Panoramic St. Thomas scenic drive was our excursion..
